wow, great great wings. dont know what the people before me were thinking? amazing sauce selection and easily the hottest sauce i have ever had, the inferno. great beer selection. i dont know that i will go anywhere else for a game ever again!! oh and there were plenty of people it there tonight and it only took ten minutes to get my food, much faster than most restaurants....

The most disgusting boneless wings I‘ve ever had. Hardly anyone was in the place and I was just ordering some wings to go for game night, and it took forever and a day to get them. Then, when we got home and tried to eat them they were tough and chewy, and the BBQ wings were plain offensive. It all tasted atrocious, we threw most of it away, it was revolting. Absolutely pathetic and I never intend to return to this place again.

Went in recently over the lunch hour. First time at this place. 4 customers in the place. Probably didn‘t make enough to keep the TVs on. Service was good. (I hope so, with 4 customers). I didn‘t have any wings, but the sandwich I ordered was fine.

I‘d go back, if that‘s worth anything as a review.

Love their Buffalo garlic boneless wings. Great appetizer menu and excellent wings!

Don‘t order the fish - it was literally minced fish fillets (two) from the yellow box in the grocery store freezer. Pathetic. Hands down, the worst gustatory experience I‘ve had in Ames to date.

Like there food, but wait staff is kind of slow. They need a host because there has been a few times we seat ourselves and they didn‘t notice us come in. Also I asked for silverware and they looked at me like I wasn‘t speaking English and brought me back a plastic fork and knife.

Seat yourself, took only a couple minutes to get served. Good food, wings were awesome. Inferno wings left my mouth burning for an hour. Can choose from many different flavored sauces and hot sauces with varying degrees of hot-ness.

not a big wings fan, but really like them here. The number of sauces to choose from is amazing.

love the fried cheese balls. the burgers and salads are awesome too. there‘s something for everyone there.

the mushrooms are delicious!!! the only complaint i have with this place is that you always have to wait before you are helped, they need a host or something bad.

Great wings with an excellent selection of sauces. The traditional wings are nice and meaty - you don‘t have to work hard for a measly bite of meat. Decent beer selection and smoke-free. Have never had a problem with service, and in fact we‘ve found them to be very helpful and attentive.

It was horrible they have it so you can seat yourself it took over 15 mins for them to ask us what we wanted to drink When we finally got our wings they were cold and flavorless and way over cooked they were very crunchy and hard. Our server was nice but the food was really bad, maybe we should have ordered something other than wings but I don‘t know if I ever want to go back!

Great food! Great place to watch a game. I recommend the boneless wings.

We ordered delivery and had a terrible experience. Whoever took the order over the phone added 10more wings than we actually ordered and we were stuck paying for them. We won‘t order from here again. Whoever we talked to on the phone was rude and wouldn‘t admit that they made a mistake. Customer service sucks!

Hot N‘ Zesty wings are some of the tastiest I‘ve had. Not the hottest, but some of of the most well balanced. Good specials. Don‘t eat here if you are in a hurry, because they are not in a hurry.

Absolutely horrible--Their order taker did not listen and sent us the wrong delivery order. When I called to get it straightened out, the manager/owner refused to make it right and even got into an argument with my wife! He would not acknowledge the employee‘s mistake, and would not fix it!

We‘ll see how long this place stays open.

Good FAC deals. I love the boneless teryaki wings and waffle fries. FYI it is called West Cyde Wings now.

I had nachos that weren‘t hot. The cheese was shredded and cold. The waitress informed me they didn‘t heat up the nachos. How are they still in business?

Horrible Horrible service. Spend the time and money to drive to DSM to Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. It is HORRIBLE food. Tastes like it was microwaved.

It is ok. Not as good as Hooters wings, but still a respectable wing. Service was acceptable, not stellar. Nice array of wing choices. Basically bar food. Good placed to get witha few buddies and watch a game.

I love this place! I have never had a bad experience eating in or delivery, the sauces are awesome!

This place rocks. About time Ames had a wing joint.

Wings To Go is great. They easily have the best wings in town and the sauces are delicious. If you like wings this is the place to go. The wings are as big as you will find anywhere, you can‘t get them any bigger. If you plan to get takeout or delivery try and stick with the wings or sandwhiches because it is hard to keep the boneless and tendors crunchy for period of time.

I‘ve been to Wings to Go a number of times, and I have a hard time finding much to say for it. The wings are small and don‘t have much meat on the bones, and the sauces, while spicy, aren‘t very flavorful. Plus if you order for carryout or delivery, the cheap containers make the wings all soggy. And the restaurant itself has all the ambience of my office‘s break room.

Really disappointing.

WTG has great food and is a really good value.

This place has 19 different sauces and awesome wings. I would say they are the best wings in town easily. They also have the CHEAPEST BEER for a restaurant in Ames. Also their HUGE projection screen tv was awesome to watch the super bowl on. Lastly $1 draws of anything on tap
Mon-Fri 4-6pm. AWESOME
