Great food, great staff! Order came out hot and fast. One of the best places to eat in Ames.

I have been here multiple times as I have lived in Ames for about 7 years now. I usually get the dingo burger with cheese and fries and it is usually always good. Last week I decided to try something new and got the mac n cheese....BIG MISTAKE. It was gross. The cheese tasted so nasty that I almost got sick right there at the table. I will be sticking with the dingo burger with cheese from now on...Other than that service was the same as always...a little slow.

Always innovative and looking ahead, with consistently good food and drink, this place remains one of the good places to go to in Ames.

Incredible food, we had the largest burger and tenderloin we have ever had. Our server was fun and friendly and the tv‘s in all the booths were great. A place we will visit over and over.

Their wraps are good. I love coming here to watch sports or have a relaxing drink with friends. Great place, good atmosphere.

In the 16 years I have been dining here I have only once been disappointed. I was not charged for my meal and a replacement was offered, so I left happy. Otherwise everything has been awesome. The owner always says hi and or thanks us for coming. I love this place. It is a favorite of the whole family.

Normally a great place to eat. I loved the bartenders from a couple of years ago - I think their names were Adam and Shane. Drinks alway consistent and great conversation. Servers are always friendly.

The food, typical and mainstream as it may be, lacks any sort of flavor at all, most of the food I‘ve had there isn‘t even seasoned. A dash of salt and pepper goes miles to bring out the natural, delicious flavors in food and this place lacks in both seasoning and quality of ingredients.
There isn‘t enough care put into the dishes to make them pallatable.
Although rumor has it that ingredients are getting better, fresher and seasoned properly and the recent stop there proved to be quite joyful. This place has a long way to go, but they appear to be making strides. I just hope somone back in that kitchen has enough heart to turn this food around.
Other than the food the atmosphere is typical sports bar fare. The waitresses seem to know what they are doing, a few of them anyway and the bar is quite an attractive center peice for the dining room.

When friends or family visit from out of town who "just want to sit down and have a burger," I know we‘re going to Wallaby‘s. They serve perfectly middle-of-the-road food that cleaves closely to generic, "traditional" American fare. They fill a need and do so well, with quality ingredients and decent service.

This is the best sports bar type place in Ames. You can find better food in Ames, but for what it is, pretty darn good.

Greasy food, but it‘s a typical conservative place to get a decent meal. don‘t go unless you love blaring TVs, though.

Laid-back atmosphere, and quite possibly the most dependable yet imaginative menu in town. Get to know the place, and you will not be disappointed.

I LOVE Wallaby‘s they have great food and cheffs, Cheff Carlos cooks some of the best food in town!!

Probably eat here 3-4 times a month for dinner. Very relaxing sports bar type atmosphere. Best wings in town--go with the Hawkeye wings (no bone). Billabong shrimp is good--huge shrimp, lightly breaded. Attentive waitressess. Fair prices. Too many Cyclown fans! ;-)
