For the past 13 years these gyro slingers have been fast and friendly. Options for your gyro include regular (lamb+beef), chicken, veggie and a very spicy hummus. The other standard toppings are onion, feta, and tzatziki sauce. Add some Tabasco and spice it up even more. If you're not in the mood for a gyro they also offer hot dogs and brats. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

I too have never found a better gyro. My record is 3 in one night. I always talk about trying to break it. Regular no vegies double tobasco is how I do it. Only gone up 50 cents since I was in college 7 years ago. If this place ever closes I might not come back to ames. At least if I did come back I would want to break something because they were gone. Jimmy Johns can burn by the way. Loosers

Smiles & Gyros are simply the best Gyros around. The only problem you can‘t enjoy them during the day and at my age you just don‘t get down to Campustown between 10 Pm and 3 AM. A nice little year around, indoor shop would be very much welcomed.
