Red Lobster

Getting a good, consistant meal here is a hit and miss. Wait staff are annoying. Attentive, but annoying.

Not too many places in Ames where u have a staff that is actually trained and know what they are doing. Excellent place to eat! Always bring my parents when they are in town! Keep up the AWESOME service!!

I had lunch this weekend and was very happy with my food and service. I had the Chef‘s choice and was pleased beyond words. My waiter was very attentive and a very pleasant young man!! Keep up the good work!!

The wait staff has to be super cheesy. My friend works there. They have strict ways of doing everything.

Everytime I go my fish is really greasy. I order my fish grilled and I still have a pool of oil on my plate afterwards. The service is ok, and the salad and biscuits are good. I have been to other Red Lobsters and thought the food was wonderful, but the Ames location could use some work.

There are two good things about this place - it‘s decorated in a way that‘s tasteful and "rustic", and the food is awesome. But as for everything else - wait times, prices, etc. it‘s not very good. If you‘re a seafood fanatic like me then it‘s nice, otherwise it‘s probably not worth it.

I absolutely love the place!!! What are you people thinking??

This is like Mcdonald‘s for shrimp only a lot more expensive. To be avoided at all costs unless you‘re really starving.

Food is ok. Sauces tend to be over-cooked. Wait staff is super cheesy.
