Not sure why so many 1 star comments :( This is place is awesome!!!! Love to come here on the weekends with my girlfriends to dance all night! This is the only place we will go in Ames. Every other place is just too "dirty bar" for us :( Its 2020 or else we go to Des Moines to party. Just wish the music was a little better some nights. Other than that, its great!

What is up with that wall? The place looks a lot better than before but that wall discourages me from coming in during the day to eat, this used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore. It‘s awkward when I convince family of friends that it‘s a nice place to eat and we walk into it smelling like 2 week old bar and our feet stick to the floor

i dont ever feel in the mood to be groped by huge black guys. this place was so much better when it just opened. the bartenders were hott and the place was clean.

Stay away if you can. Doesn‘t matter how you tip or how patiently you wait, they get to their friends and screw you over. The Asians can‘t bartend. No vodka in my sex on the beach. Puh-lease!

this place is gross. the floors are sticky, the bartenders are awful, and the door guys are creeps. it‘s too bad they think this place is a club because the food was really good. i guess if you want to be felt up by nasty black guys this is the place to be.

Food is amazing.. The service has improved a lot since they first opened. Way better atmosphere since they re-did the place. Service could use a little bit improvement. Will definitely come back. :)

the bartenders cant bartend and the company is awful. Adolfo, the manager is a joke. fire him. this place is gross

they haven‘t had a latin party since last year. but that place has really good Dj‘s and really good promotional campaigns compare to other bars. when i go out and want a bartender to treat me right i tip them right and they never ignore me specially at 20/20.

I went twice for latin music nights and the DJs were awful. They kept switching between genres that didn‘t mix, not even letting a whole song play. The songs themselves were nice- too bad we couldn‘t listen to one anywhere near its entirety.
The bartenders seemed fairly clueless and distracted. The floors and bathrooms were not so clean.
The lights were modern and nice.

The bartenders are awful! It wasn‘t even busy and it took forever and tasted terrible!

Went there last night for the first time the music was great and the dance floor was crazy. The bartenders and service were all right, there was one asian bartender who is probably one of the hottest bartenders in town and actually knew what she was doing and did it fast. Definitely go to her if you want good shots

This place has amazing food! the service was great and the portion was huge!

I went there with a group of friends we heard they have really good speciality drinks. I wish we would have looked at this site first. We waited for about 20 min for the "tall guy" as he‘s called to serve us drinks that weren‘t even right. I‘m not from around here and I know drinks are made different in different places but the Hurricane I was given was awful. NONE of the ingredients were right. The Long Island wasn‘t that good either.
We left after waiting over a half hour for our second drinks. The bathrooms were disgusting, how is this place not shut down?
The bartop was very cool though, and we had fun dancing. I would suggest ALL new staff and management.

Dinner is great but the bar isnt worth it! i have been for lunch and dinner a couple times. the dinner waitress needs to pay more attention but she was great overall. the day staff seemed confused both times we went. im a bit too old for the bar seen but tried stopping in once. big mistake!

keeps going down hill.... everyone worth it to see quit a while ago now they have a guy whos a joke and some random girls.

Love this place! Miss the live music that it used to have when it was Bali but is still a good time.

went there last night and had a blast! got there before cover, they had some killer drink specials ($2 rum and coke on a Saturday?) and the guy behind the bar makes something he calls ‘bongwater‘ which is the best mixed drink i‘ve ever had. i was drunk off of one.

This place is a joke.
Cramped, chaotic and sketchy.
The bartenders don‘t know shit.. slowest and most confused service in ames.
I was hoping that a new club bar in campus town would be a success but the creepy minors and demographics of this bar make for an uncomfortable experience.
Prices sucked, Service and bartending was awfull at best and the atmosphere is overdone for an ames bar.
The only plus side of this place is the food. Don‘t bother trying to drink here. you‘ll be seriously disappointed

This Place is off the hook during night time !! to tell you the truth the music quality is of a bigger city and the lights are cool, the sound system could use a lil help, but besides that is a pretty chill and nice place to go dance at!! The restaurant could use a lil more help during lunch time it seems that the they are short handed and the guys who serve really dont know what they are doing. The food is really good everyone should try it!

went on new year‘s and the cover was only three dollars. the drink prices are pretty decent, i don‘t think anything was over five bucks. the music was awesome, they mix a lot of old 90‘s stuff in with the newer tracks.

the tall guy is the best bartender in ames besides welch ave or cafe b, and i think his hurricane is better than the zombies and long islands those places are known for. the tweaker looking guy kept spilling things and kept having to ask the other guy how to make stuff, so i just went to the other guy instead.

the bar top is really cool and the dance floor is nice, but the dining area is kind of run down and there isn‘t anywhere else to sit besides the bar and a couple of couches. the walls are pretty bare for a bar, too...

this place is hit or miss. the food is some of the best around but the snaggle toothed girl that serves has a bad attitude. it doesn‘t seem like anyone cleans up after the weekends so it looks (and smells) gross during the day.

we went in for bootytronic. we ordered hurricanes from the trashy blonde girl, and she had to ask the new tall guy how to make them. i don‘t mind strong drinks but hers tasted like rubbing alcohol. we asked the tall guy to re-make our drinks, and he apologized and didn‘t charge us. we stayed with him for the rest of the night.

they need to spend some money cleaning the place up and could probably use some new staff....

It‘s quite bewildering that this place is still open. While the food may have improved since the metamorphosis from Bali Satay to Project 20 20, the service is chaotic at best. Often, when my colleagues choose to go there, the staff informs us that they are out of things, silverware, the hot and spicy, anything for the specialty drinks, etc. One of us had to go to the kitchen to retrieve our meal. Wake up, and realize that the only reason you are kicking is the clubbers who want to thrash around in slinky, outdated outfits, and rave about the bartenders. Does anyone take these folks seriously? They are commenting on the appearance of bartenders, presumably after a night of binge-drinking, and vomit showers.

I‘d say they‘re better than Element but it seems they don‘t have crap to serve me with when I order a drink. Food is okay. I‘d stay away from the bar scene though.

watch this place die when they cant let minors in anymore like a REAL BAR, not a joke of a restaurant. i have been to many house parties that are cooler than this place. Just because you say you are a big city club, does not work. Especially in LAMES IOWA

came for the first time last night since they changed from bali. the chubby blonde girl took forever to make drinks but the tall guy is awesome. my girlfriend and i got a kick out of how he dealt with people - some girl ordered shots and wanted them free, and he told her something along the lines of ‘the next time you order, make sure we think you‘re pretty enough for free drinks. it saves me a lot of hassle.‘

i‘ve never laughed so hard.

Bartenders are the sexy people in town! if your looking for the best place to go at night head out to Project 2020!

the crowd is less sketchy than the other club/bars (sips, element) and the regular DJ is the best in town. they got rid of the greaseball bartender and hired some new asshole but he makes the best shots and he‘s kinda cute...

The club is better then the restaurant. Hott chic bartenders who make awesome drinks. the dark haired one seems spacey and the guy is an a**hole.

hard to find another indonesian food in ames. good portion and price :)

pretty good food with reasonable price. the portion is kinda huge that a girl could finish it all at once
