Pizza Pit

Best place for pizza in Ames, hands down. It‘s so goo, we eat there once a week.

This place is amazing...great sauce and love the Pizza twins.
I would highly suggest trying a little pit.

What a terrible pizza , the crust was bad, the cheese was terrible and the sauce indescribable. I did not finish the pizza, it must be the people from the bar who keep the place going, as I found nothing to ever make me want to go back again.

We order from the about once a week and they have never gotten our order wrong and have never taken more than 45 min. Food is awesome and cheap and they have the best cheese bread ever!

I used to love the pizza pit, but the last several times I‘ve ordered the person answering the phone has been very confused. I have received wrong food the last three times and the boring mild wings instead of the inferno wings. I hope to have a different experience and will try them again.

I have been a customer of theirs for over 25 years. I liked the old sauce better. It irritates me when I call in to order and get put on hold--like the next call might be a better offer. Either hire more operators or go toan auto answer. Prices are not as good as they used to be. Overall, in a town devoid of many really good pizza options, PP is still ok.

Sandwiches are oven-toasted and taste great. Cheese bread is good and cheap, too. Wings are awesome! Don‘t care for the pizza.

I‘m not a big fan of their pizza, but their hot subs can‘t be beat, and we can‘t get enough of their fried parmesan cubes!
