Gumby's

Wow, worse pizza know to man! Sure, it‘s cheap, but it‘s not worth the few cents in savings for such a poor product. The delivery guys are nice, however.

Gumby‘s is great for providing college students with cheap pizza. I never had too many problems with delivery, and they were good about going light on the sauce when my roommate ordered it that way (though one time she spent 3 minutes trying to get the guy to understand she wanted them to go LIGHT on the sauce. .. not put on white sauce...I agree sometimes they seem baked out of their minds!)
The pizza isn‘t the best in town, but they have some of the best deals.

Pokey sticks are the bread and butter of any college student‘s party food. Yeah sometimes I‘ve not gotten what I‘ve ordered, but they always fixed a mistake. I think they‘re just high there all the time, so minus one star

And yeah what that other guy said - I asked a driver the other day how much he makes an hour and he was right it‘s 4.50 +tips. I didn‘t realize it‘s still legal in this state to do that. So yeah if your driver is rude its because you probably just cost him money to deliver your pizza because you didn‘t tip.

I‘ve had Gumby‘s deliver multiple times, and it seems that they can‘t ever except being wrong. They claim to call phones and both a.) don‘t leave a message, and b.) probably don‘t even call. They dial the wrong number then, an hour later, find out the number they were supposed to call and blame the customer for the mistake. They proceed to deliver a cold and mediocre pokey sticks and assume that it‘s alright to charge full price for their mistakes. What ever happened to customer satisfaction? I tip the drivers well, however this isn‘t their fault, this is a management problem. I‘ve been disappointed for the second time tonight and if I don‘t hear that changes have been made in their policies I won‘t be making the same mistake again.

It is pizza what do you people expect? The delivery drivers make 4.50 an hour and rude students don‘t tip of course they are going to be rude to you.

I have ordered from this place several times. I think they offer a very nice variety of topping options, and the prices are very good. Where else can I get a half broccoli cheddar, half spinach feta pizza? I usually do have them deliver, and have never been dissapointed.

This place used to serve the holy grail of Pepperoni Rolls (to hades with that stuff that serve at Old Chicago), then it just went down hill fast. Their pizza has always been terrible and their Phishesque employees have always been amusing, but not all the competent.

After being put on hold for 10 minutes, I was able to give the woman my order(not before I got her attitude in return), then an hour and a half later it showed up. The delivery guy just shoved the pizza at me. Not worth your time or money.

Well this week is finals week and I had my first final today from 7-9pm and afterwords I was hungry for some food since I had been slamming redbulls all day and cramming as much as I could before I didnt really eat much. So afterwards around 9:43 I called Gumby‘s pizza in Ames and ordered some cheese bread. Well They said it would be about an 45 mins to an hour. So 10:43 then I waited and watched some tv 11:00 went by then finally at 11:40 I called and told them I wanted to cancel my order. I talked with a person and they said I had given them a incorrect number which was my cell phone and had previously ordered several times before. So I asked to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone said she was the general manager. Well I told her that this was horrible customer service and I wouldn‘t order from them again. She told me I still owed for the pizza I replied "what pizza" since it hadn‘t been delivered. So I just keep telling her she didn‘t provide a service and I wasn‘t paying. Then she hung up so I can‘t wait to see how their going to go about charging me.

Sorry for the long rant I was hungry, tired, and stressed to the max I just wanted some F#$king food.

Pokey Stix are friggin awsome, though their pizza lacks in goodness...

I have bad feelings about this place. I made a very simple order by phone, a large pepperoni pizza, and went to pick it up and then brought it home and it was plain cheese. Now, thats really dissapointing when you wanted pepperoni. It was either drive all the way back and get the right pizza or take a free one later. Well, at least they worked with us...but the pizza was so bad we only took the free pizza because it was free. i‘ll never order there again, I dont care how cheap it is.
