COME BACK LUCKY PIZZA AND VIDEO!!!! You were the best place for reasonably priced pizza in Ames. Your Buffalo Chicken Pizza was the best ever!!

First off, this place is great because they really care about their product and the customer satisfaction is great you leave the place feeling as though you were treated as a friend rather than a customer. Yes the pizza is different than that of papa johns or pizza hut, but do you really want the same type of pizza that others have? No you do not! The first thing that makes them good is that their ingredients are fresh, ranging from their homemade dough to home made sauce to their vegetables. The thing that made me glad was the daily specials that they have, I learned that friday and saturday night from 9pm to 3am they have a medium cheese pizza and small breadsticks for 4 dollars. Not to mention their delivery service is good depending on the day that you order. The biggest thing was that I ordered on a friday night around 11pm and their wait was a while due to the fact that they were swamped with people ordering special, so I didn‘t panic if they told me a longer time so that my order was fresh, plus the delivery guy was very professional and helped me get the right change back. I did think it was weird when they gave me a paper bag with little toys in it that they called a "lucky bag" but the guesture was nice and I look forward to eating there again and again.

It‘s got pizza - it‘s hard to go wrong with pizza. What‘s great is that it‘s a small business, unique to Ames. If you haven‘t tried it for yourself, you definitely should.

The concept is cool, but since this is listed as a restaurant, it should be rated as such:
After reading all the positive reviews, I thought I‘d give it a try. The delivery was not only slow, but very unprofessional. They called me 10 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered, only to tell me that the delivery person had not left yet. Even overlooking the fact that my pizza was lukewarm, it was still mediocre at best. I love to support local business, but I just can‘t justify trying this place again. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because... well, it‘s pizza.

The pizza‘s pretty good and not greasy like some of the bigger Pizza places (Domino‘s, Papa John‘s, Pizza Hut, etc.). They also have green olives as a topping. Also, the guy who owns the place is way cool.
