They are closed in Ames...and with good reason

Food is ok but service is generally poor and it takes about 45 minutes to get your food even on a slow evening. Had previously gotten a veteran‘s discount but last time was told that they didn‘t offer one.

nice view, but that‘s about all it‘s got going for it, food takes a long time and there‘s no ambiance.

Not sure if we‘ll be back for lunch-- when you only have about 40 minutes it might not be the place. today was a Very slow day. I am sure the cook was doing his/her best being alone. Our groups food was good when it arrived. Although the BLT‘s needed the T -- menu boasted it as a big sandwich and it was mostly bread and not much inbetween --diced tomatoes?! really? The other sandwiches in our group got sliced tomatoes but the BLT got diced Perhaps when they are fully staffed it will be more consistant and faster. I loved the Legends waffle fries! -- another note I don‘t know who takes care of the entrance area off the elevators, but it does not leave a very good impression toward the restaurant in coming and going. It would not be the first place I would choose for Lunch but it is a great place to relax after work.
