The staff is fantastic and so much fun! The food is great and the coffee is the best in town! Its a great hang out place because they have free wi fi and outlets with a cozy and very friendly atmosphere - make it a great place to study and socialize :)

Best cafe in Ames. They have some great breakfast selections, and FANTASTIC deserts. Even their scones are great. There are no walls, just windows to the parking lot so there is a weird feeling of being exposed while your there which really takes away from the homey feeling. Some scattered drapery panels would really help to soften the space.

Coffee and tea are pretty decent, but the food is lacking. Soups come from a bag and the sandwiches have no flavor. It takes forever for them to prepare stuff and the prices are pretty high compared to other restaurants/cafes in Ames.

I love Cafe Milo. By far the best coffee shop in Ames. Great gourmet food and desserts. A place you can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and they have what you‘re looking for. Also the ambiance is wonderful. They don‘t restrict your usage of electrical outlets, so you can bring your laptop and chill. Also they feature art by local artists, which I think is really cool of them. If you are into supporting local businesses, this place deserves your dollars.
