Broadway Diner

This place closed like 3 years ago!! Why is it still listed on here. The food sucked then and thank god it is one less crappy restaurant in Ames. Hopefully more dives like this crap hole will shut down in Ames. Can we all hope that Northwest Cafe is next?? Please.

Like eating lunch in a Lynch movie... but pretty good food. I think it‘s closing soon... sad to see it go.

Great place to eat. Love the owners and the wait staff. Very casual. I believe that everything on the menu is what you call "comfort food".

Best place to eat in Ames, food is made fresh. My roomates and I made it a point to eat at the Diner at least once a weekend (usually twice) in the morning, after those of so rough college nights. Staff is incredible nice, and will bend over backwards for ya. You won‘t be disappointed.

ps. I have eaten everything on the menu...there is not one thing I dislike. But I love the turkey noodle and mashed patatoe blue plate.

They have a sign the best food in ames . dont try the ruben sandwitch. i think they put corn beef hash in it.

Most excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere, captures the feel of a "real" diner. Very friendly staff. Excellent shakes. I really like this place! Good cheap meal where you can just chillax. Definitely an up-and-comming independant business, so expect a few blemishes in presentation.
