This place has some of the highest-quality coffee in town (the pour-over is definitely worth the wait), plus a nice variety of pastries & other baked goods, a few hot food items, Italian sodas, teas, and other tasty drinks. The cafe is fairly small, but it‘s close to campus, has a nice atmosphere (the solid wooden furniture and the rotation of featured local artists are a nice touch), friendly service, and it‘s a nice place to just chill out with a book or laptop while ingesting your delicious dosage of caffeine for the day. They‘ve been expanding their menu a bit and adding more food items, so I‘m excited to see what new stuff they offer next.

Really, really good coffee and the best lattes I‘ve ever had. Also, love the vegetarian soups and sandwiches. The pastries are nice, especially the muffins and scones. A nice place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch, or get a dessert (that‘s far nicer and less expensive than most restaurants have) after dinner.
All their pastries are made there, one of the owners roasts all the coffee, and they even make the soups and sandwich bread from scratch.
Really a cute and unique little shop!

Coffee and espresso is amazing, they roast their own beans on site, which is more than any other coffee shop in the area can say. They‘ve got all the know how to make good coffee, they wash the filters and bloom the grounds, way more than most other places around here that do drip coffee. And to whoever left that passive aggressive post about the wifi/table mooch, I assume you work there and should kick the guy out. He obviously has no respect for your business so why should you show him any?

I really like doing my long haul study sessions here too--plug in the ol‘ laptop for 5, maybe 6 hours, use a few extra chairs to put my books on. Once in awhile I order a single origin coffee, but usually I just drink the red bull I brought and ask the super nice barista for a glass of water. If I‘m feeling hungry, I just munch on the granola bars I have in my backpack; even though the desserts other people are ordering look great, I‘m sure the staff understands I need to manage my expenses. I noticed some customers ordering their drinks to go, but I think it‘s because they wanted to sit on the ground outside or in their car to have a private conversation--but I‘d be happy to give them my table after I‘m done studying on fb in a few hours. The only thing I would suggest is to have more, and bigger, tables for studying; this IS a college town, you know.

This place is a welcome change of pace.
Great single origin coffee roasted in-house, a ton of great desserts, good eclectic music selection, and nifty handcrafted tables.
Also, outlets for those long haul study sessions.
