Applebee's

The food and staff are average most the time. It has gone down hill a bit since opening several years ago but that doesn‘t mean the food is bad. You can still find a good steak, seafood or salad their. They have a good bartendar last I check who knew more than a few drinks and made them well.

Not all of the servers have the best attitude, and it‘s just an average Applebees.

I love this Applebees. Everythime we go to Ames this is where we eat out. Went the Sunday after Christmas and it was excellent. Our waitress was the nicest one we have had yet. She was very pleasant and a good worker. Im sure we will be returning soon!

Everytime I‘ve gone in there I‘ve been disgusted by the time I left. The only reason I‘ve gone there is because people have given me giftcards and every single time I‘ve eaten there I‘ve felt like I‘ve had to wash my face afterward because I feel as if I‘ve just smothered myself in grease and salt. I‘ve only had one good meal there out of all the times I have gone, and even that meal was tainted by the fact that it tasted like their steamed vegetables had been washed with dishsoap. I would recommend the people who go to this restaurant turn their cars around and buy a frozen pizza because that‘s about the quality you‘re going to get.

Even though I‘m not a fan of chains, eventually I would end up at Applebees from time to time. As long as I got the boneless buffalo wings, I was happy.

This place is way over rated! the few things I did like on the menu they took away. Service is usually slow at best. The food is average or below and is way over priced.

It is like an expensive fast food. But if you are on diet they have some good options but the portion is very small.

Steak was above average with limited fat and good taste. Of course you have to pay for the expensive New York Strip to get any good steak. Oh, then there‘s the issue that my credit card got double charged. Still waiting for the manager to contact me about the 45 dollar double bill. The steak was definitely not worth 90 bucks.

Defiantly disguisting...... Luv the Applebees where I am from, but this one is always filthy and dirty, the staff isnt nice and there steak seems to always be very gritty. Defiantly a huge disappointment!!!!!

I don‘t think I have ever been to an Applebees that I have enjoyed and this was no exception. The freeze dried steak was not good, way too much grizzle. The service was not great, and the atmosphere was generic and annoying at best. Applebees is just one small step about fast food.

The neighborhood restaurant that isn‘t in a neighborhood. Over priced and the portions are small. 6 french fries does not constitute a side. Not in my world!!! What does it take to get a refill in this place?

Last time I ate here was because I had won a free entree. While the steak was OK, the atmosphere and service made up my mind: even free food here isn‘t worth it. This place went from acceptable to lame over the past few years.

ames has way too many good independant restaurants to waste your time and money at applebees! go to cafe northwest instead, similar prices, way better food and drinks, not prepackaged defrosted crap like applebees.

Mmm, steak! Good chicken salads and other dishes, too. Awesome mudslides -- not strong, but very tasty.
