Ames Kung Fu & Natural Health Center focuses on individual personal development with the long-term goals of improving the communities and lives of those involved. We are a martial arts school, but we are also a life arts school, a fitness center, a traditional medicine clinic, a retreat for quietude, and a supportive family of friends, students, and instructors.
We run an integrated program with areas featuring preventative nutrition, sports training, fitness counseling, traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts, self-defense, yoga, tai chi, qi gong, meditation, and various other lectures/seminars/workshops.
We strive to be the source of inner change in the community.

This is by far the most comprehensive training program I have ever seen, anywhere. Both the mental and physical plus excellent information about health, nutrition, and special types of meditation that help with daily stress and really help me reflect after a long workday and offers me an outlet to expand beyond my career in academia. -YP
