Whiskey River

Didn‘t know it was a college bar - maybe because it was a Monday night. I never got any service from the bartender.
Don‘t go in there by yourself if you‘re female. At least it is a lot less trashier than Corner Pocket.

i like whiskey river for lunch. the burgers are great, and the onion rings are good too if you can eat them after a huge burger.

It beats campustown hands down. The atmosphere is great for a laid-back evening.

Two words, Texas Burgers. Great food.

I enjoyed Whiskey, I like the atomosphere and its a change from the Usual Martini bars or the drama that campustown has, Bartenders are nice and seem like they know a good time!

The food there is great, but the staff is unreliable. I was especially unimpressed by the girl behind the bar. She just didn‘t seem to be on the ball and had obviously been drinking as had many of the bartenders. Also I found it disrespectful that the bartenders had their hands on one another. All in all, I will probably only return for the food and stick to the campus town bars in the future.

My college friends & I stopped here b/c we knew the bartender. The pool table was open, so we started to play & some trailer trash loser tried to pick a fight with us b/c it was "his" table. His girlfriend kept calling us "lezzies." This place attracts the lowest of the middle-aged lower class.
