There are demons in there! I met at least two (this past summer) that were at the very least possessed at the time and very publically intoxicated. Very interesting place if you are curious and into that sort of thing. Be very careful.

A great small bar, especially for regulars. You could find a million things to hate and never go back, until you realize that it‘s all part of the ambiance. It is quite possibly the ultimate dive bar that you‘ll go to every week until you die. Hot bartenders, crappy popcorn, good drink prices, and a bathroom that Quentin Tarantino would use in a movie set. But if you go regularly, the waitstaff (hottest in Ames, in my opinion) know you by name and are truly friendly. It‘s Cheers, if Cheers were in Iowa and falling apart.

To cheap to run the AC. I think on Fridays they have Kareokee...BUT IT IS WAY TO LOUD! Don‘t expect to talk to anyone without yelling.

Very smoke filled and run down--but cheapest drinks in town. A dive but it does not pretend to be anything but that.
