Corner Pocket

I‘ve been there before for various reasons but last night we went there for my fiance‘ birthday. Both bartenders were amazing, they knew me by name after one time telling them and always came right away to see what drinks we wanted. That‘s nice when you don‘t have to wait at the bar forever for them to notice you. We don‘t go out that often so the calm friendly environment away from the craziness of Welch is so nice.

im not much of a pool player but i love this place to go and hang out with friends.... although i dont know how a pitcher of beer and a long island cost me $21mext time, ill just drink before i come....

The 8 ball pool tournament on Teusday evenings are a must for everyone who enjoys competative pool,, also 9 ball on Thursday evenings

had a great time. snooker, pool, darts, good beer, the sunday ticket i found a new home.

Large bar which is nice, but tables are not maintained very well. Felt is dirty and bumpers sag on many tables. Good music and atmosphere. A crapshoot with wait staff...sometimes it‘s great, sometimes you have to wait for them to finish a conversation with a friend before you can a drink.

Great bar to go and relax. Watch a ball game, play pool, or just sit and drink. The staff is all very polite.

If you want someone to try and pick a fight with you on a Saturday night then all you need do is hang around in the bar area at Corner Pocket.

The tables are great, the bar staff are friendly...but they certainly need to keep better control of their drunken customers and ban those who cause trouble.

make no mistake, this is a pool hall....good tables too. Very few places to sit other then just the bar itself, so be prepared to stand if you arent playing pool. Good selection of beers!

dont waste your money at some other bar pumping quarters into a table, get balls by the hour and do whatever you want, plenty of room to shoot, and no drunkass frat boys in upturned collared shirts bumpin you

great place to come for a drink or to play pool. I‘m overly impressed with the place on atmosphere.

Great place to play pool against some of the best players in Iowa. Their there, trust me. Just look at Wed Night pool league. Not to mention home to the only 12 ft regulation sized snooker table for miles.
