Carr Pool

We love Carr Pool, too. The new once is nice but we still would rather go to Carr. And, the person who wrote the 7/10/10 review...what a great idea. I think it has merit. Wish I could afford it.

I think if Ames doesn‘t want to manage the pool anymore they should just sell it. let people who want it to stay open, buy and manage it.

What a great place. I hear that the City wants to tear it down. How stupid can they be. Not growing up in Ames, I can tell that this is a paramount community attaction and should be maintained. Not everyone wants to go to the new teenager hangout; aka the new Ames baby sitter. Have some respect and consideration for adults and senior citizens!

I grew up going to carrs pool. I even remember the Carrs. Will be a great loss.

Carr pool is where I‘ve been going for the past 8 years. It‘s the place where we can bike to just have a good time in the summer. I love this place.

Carr pool is where kids around ames just go and hang out. All the kids form ames who want to have a fun time that arnt members of the country club or go to nevada come to chill at Carr pool. So i give it a three because its not a water park its just somewhere to avoid the heat and hang out.
